Maybe it’s the youthfulness I feel while listening to a familiar song from days gone by?
Maybe it’s the blissful excitement I feel while playing air guitar in between slicing and dicing?
It could be the good vibes that envelop me while I sing along to a catchy tune?
Whatever the reason, music inspires me in the kitchen and gets my creatives juices flowing!
While working on new recipes, I wear wireless headphones with the volume cranked up a little too loud.
Oblivious to the outside world and acting like the maestro of my kitchen, waving tongs and spatulas to direct my instruments of cookery as I sway to some funky beats.
I always smile when I hear the beginning of the song In the Meantime by Spacehog.
And I love to sing along with them, but don’t quite know all the words because the lyrics blend together at times.
So I asked the band if I could publish their lyrics, to see what they were really singing all these years.
