I have been experimenting with Bacon Hot Sauce to come up with some tasty recipes for my 4th of July cookout.
Fresh ripe strawberries are abundant this time of year, so I decided to use them to create a sweet and tangy bbq sauce…
I simmered the juicy berries with a healthy dose of Bacon Hot Sauce, ketchup, onions, water, brown sugar, molasses, dark chocolate, and a touch of spearmint…
…then blended the sweet n’ spicy berry reduction until smooth…
I gotta say, the home made bbq sauce was superb basted on grilled strip steaks…

But what to serve with the bbq beef?
Maybe a fresh summer relish made with sweet corn cut off the ear, tomatoes, Bacon Hot Sauce, and a little apple cider .
I spooned it over fresh sliced avocados…
