My first Smashburger was served with a smile and it was most definitely something to savor.
Tangy BBQ sauce, smoky bacon, gooey cheddar cheese and crisp haystack onions all piled high atop a juicy cooked to order burger served on a perfectly toasted bun…
I was Eatn around Chicago in Darien Illinois at a VIP sneak peek event to celebrate the fourth Smashburger to open in in Chicagoland.
This is where I discovered that Smash + Sizzle = Savor at Smashburger!
A heavenly aroma wafted towards me from the kitchen as I sat listening to the seductive sound of sizzling ground beef while awaiting my order.
As I pondered the reasonably priced yet freshly prepared goodies on the menu, my lovely Smashburgers were quickly delivered with style.
Many locals poured into this new neighborhood fast casual restaurant and the place was abuzz with excitement.
It’s unusual for a new eatery to invite prospective patrons from the surrounding community to an event in which they can try anything on the menu for free.
At Smashburger, this is what they do just before every grand opening so that foodies can discover why smash + sizzle = savor.
The nice folks at Smashburger also made everyone feel at home by starting them off with a quick “menu tour” as they walked through the front door.
Smashburger offers a regional burger at all of their nationwide locations. This speciality sandwich is created by using flavors and ingredients that are common to the area it is served in.
The Windy City Smashburger is soon to become a Chicago classic because it’s served on a yummy yet light pretzel bun with layers of cheese and crispy haystack onions.
Now that’s a Smashburger I can savor!
Let’s not forget the incredible Hagaan Dazs shakes and malts at Smashburger.
Their indulgent Bottled Green River Soda Float is served in a frosty mug packed full of generous scoops of Haagan Dazs ice cream that are floating in a fizzy sweet Chicago made sodapop.
One thing’s for sure, I’ll be back at Smashburger again soon to savor more of their terrific foodie delights.
