Sharyn and I were watching Food Network’s Outrageous Food Friday night, and a commercial appeared featuring the NYC Wine & Food Festival.
I watched as Aarti Sequeira worked her way through the Shop Rite Grand Tasting, and I joked with Sharyn that “we might be in this commercial”… never expecting to actually see myself in it!
There I was for a few brief moments in full HD on our television, standing next to Chuck Hughes from Chuck’s Day Off.
That’s outrageously cool, thanks Food Network!

It was great to meet Fabio Viviani (Season 5 Top Chef and also competing on Top Chef All-Stars).

Iron Chef Marc Forgione was soon to battle his way to victory as The Next Iron Chef when I took this picture at the Grand Tasting!

After watching every season & episode of Top Chef, it was terrific to meet Tom Colicchio while enjoying an unforgettable meal at ‘DeBragga at Dusk’…
Rachael Ray signed a mountain of cookbooks and greeted every fan with her beautiful smile …
Festival Founder Lee Schrager and actress Debi Mazar mingled at SWEET…
Bethany Frankel was not yet Skating with the Stars when I got this picture of her at SWEET (and yes she is just as pretty in person!)…
Guy Fieri arrived like a rock star when he sauntered into SWEET surrounded by his posh posse and a swarm of buzzing fans. I caught Guy posing for this”kewl” picture…
