Sometimes My Perfect Meal is a sampling of many smaller courses, a tasting menu so to speak.
As I read the delightful recipes at LatestRecipes.net, I wish I could hang out in Olive’s kitchen and sample everything she cooks up!
Olive delivers honest commentary about home cooking & baking. Whether she is preparing her own recipe, or recreating the recipes of other noteworthy chefs.
As I daydream of hanging out at her kitchen table, while Olive cooks up my perfect tasting menu, maybe it would start with something crunchy and utterly sweet…
Yema Balls (Caramel-coated Caramel Custard Balls)
…to awaken my palette for the feast to come!
Next I would beg for porky dumplings, with some slightly spicy asian sauce…
…then beg for a second plate while waiting for a bowl of magical soup, fabled to be a tonic that invigorates mind & body…
…I hope Olive wouldn’t mind if I dunked her classic rolls right in the soup?
As my appetite starts to dwindle, I’m sure there is room for some zingy wings while pondering whats for dessert…
…and I would love to finish with a sweet treat, covered in creamy white chocolate sauce…
Thanks Olive for always serving up something tasty, I’m waddling away from this meal extra-full, but sure I’ll be hungry for more soon…
