After Baconfest Chicago, I took a week to travel and visit family.

It was a fun trip full of good eats and I was also able to rest my weary fingers, but now it’s time to start blogging again!

Last weekend, I was elated to receive an invitation from Sheri Wetherell Founder & VP, Editorial at Foodista.com, to pre-register for the International Food Blogger Conference.

Of course I immediately registered and booked my room at the Hotel Monaco. 

James Oseland of Saveur Magazine is the Keynote Speaker at the IFBC.   There is also a 3 day agenda in the works, full of excellent networking and learning opportunities for food bloggers.

I’m so excited to visit the city of Seattle and to learn from some of the best in the industry, August can’t come soon enough!

If you have any suggestions about what to do while I’m in Seattle please comment below.  I’m hoping to stay a few days to explore the city and local eateries.
