Confessions of a Baconaholic, Part Deux: Imbibing Bacon and Potatoes the Easy Way

Published by Brad on November 29th, 2009 - in Uncategorized
Sometimes you have to stop and smell the bacon, or maybe drink it?

Drinking bacon and taters?  It is possible…

I came across Bakon Vodka while searching the web for unique bacon related stuff.  Although I have not tried this potato based porky concoction,  I can only imagine how wonderful it would taste in a bloody mary (maybe the morning after an indulgent night of  smoked pork and martinis)?

I tried to order and unfortunately the distributors listed are out of stock, but promised to have more in soon.  Bakon Vodka™ is only available in 5 states, which are not close enough to get my hands on some.

This quest for Bakon Vodka™ has only begun.  The vodka recipes are amazing, and I will continue trying to procure this elusive spirit.

Have you tried  Bakon Vodka or come across a similar product?  Please let me know by commenting below.

Thank you for reading my blog.

I agree, this sounds like it would be awesome in a Bloody Mary!

Bacon-flavored vodka, huh? Sounds like it would be a total hit at our house. Great call with the bloody mary!

As far as odd bacon-flavored stuff goes, I’m astounded at how much of the stuff actually exists… and how much of it is good. Like that bacon chocolate bar by Vosges… *sigh*

Thanks Foodhappens for commenting. I am also amazed at the amount of bacon products that have been created. I seemed to be more amazed each time I search the web, and I will continue to pass on the info through my blog as I find interesting bacon stuff. Its seems like bacon brings out the creative side of a lot of entrepeneurs.

As for Vosges chocolate, particulary Mo’s Bacon Bar, I credit that bacon product for the inspiration to write about bacon stuff. After one bite I was hooked and keep going back for more.
